Closing Thoughts

This book is rather different from most math textbooks. While most math books are about some set of math topics, this book is mainly about you. It's about what happens inside of you when you do math. It's about the effects of what you do inside have on how easy or hard it is for you to do things in the world. Most of all, it is about how you can take ownership of your own internal processes, gaining greater freedom of expression.

Regardless of whether you use mathematics heavily in your life's work, please take what you have learned here and consider how you may apply it in those and related areas. If you have difficulty in a certain situation, look at yourself first, and ask if there is something in your attitude or perception that can open to a different, more successful approach.

Some of the happiest moments of my life have been when I was working some expression out in my mind's eye. My hope is that through this book, you may find a bit of that joy for yourself. Thank you for reading this book.
